I tend to agree with these evaluations, and it explains why the “big” press event was scheduled on a Thurs and held that Friday, just before 4th of July weekend. Intel may have been a last minute addition to an existing relationship between BMW and MobileEye, and an opportunity for MBLY to promote their 5th gen product, while they are 2 years away from delivering the 4th generation.
