Hyundai Motor plans to build its own ADAS chips and sensors

 

The average car had $333 worth of chip content as of 2014, an increase of 11 percent in the past four years

I can see ADAS easily doubling this figure, a good time to have make past investments in automotive silicon development, tough time to enter from scratch with FuSa and security requirements escalating.
